9 AM - 4:30 PM

Presented by Mind Meets Music and Grand Valley State University, ARTS ALIVE! is a first of its kind symposium offering a practical approach to arts integration in the classroom. The purpose of the event is to disseminate information and share strategies to be used in the classroom to improve students’ literacy and academic achievement. The symposium is geared toward preschool and early elementary classroom teachers, educators, and education students. We look forward to sharing cutting edge strategies about arts integration benefiting those playing a pivotal role in the lives of students throughout Michigan.

The symposium agenda encompasses a keynote speaker elaborating on practical applications of arts integration in school environments, as well as breakout sessions targeting specific focuses in early education and more!
With Mind Meets Music’s current role as a United States Department of Education grantee, as well as our extensive work in West Michigan, we see first-hand the benefits of arts integration significantly impacting the lives of students! We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of education, touching and changing the lives throughout the West Michigan community, one child at a time.
